Shipping policy

General Shipping Guidelines:
Typically, we ship orders within 4 business days but cannot always make that guarantee. Shipping time can be anywhere from 2-6 days depending on your region. During the holidays, the time it takes to ship orders may increase. We ship via Fed Ex and USPS.

Please keep in mind that we are NOT responsible for any items shipped and marked as “delivered” in the tracking information of the courier. If an item is marked as “delivered”, we have to assume that the item was indeed delivered. Please keep in mind that insurance cannot be claimed on any item marked “delivered” in the tracking information. Insurance is for packages that are lost or damaged. If the item is marked as delivered by the carrier, it is not considered lost or damaged. All packages are insured for up to $50.

If you are concerned about your package, we recommend you have it insured. If you want insurance on your package, you must contact us before the order is shipped. We can then give you the cost of the insurance the carrier will charge.

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, misguided, damaged, or packages delivered to the shipping address provided on the order or if the carrier may have delivered to the wrong address. If you want to avoid the problems above, we ask that you request a signature delivery.

We are not responsible for the package reaching its destination by the carrier. We are not responsible for the package not being delivered in any manner described by the carrier.

Back Orders:
We will make every attempt to completely fill your order, but in the event of a back order we will contact you via email when our stock is replenished. If your back order is urgent please contact us for estimated time of arrivals.

In Store Pickup:
If you’d like to pick-up your order at one of our retail store locations, we recommend you follow the following steps to avoid delays or miscommunication:

1. Place your order and choose the “Local Store Pick-up” shipping option.
2. We will email or call you when your order is ready for pick up.

To avoid delays in the store, we recommend you follow the above steps. If you’re not sure what you want, we encourage you to come and browse our selection of products.

Errors, Breakage, and Returning Merchandise:

If you’ve made an error or want to return an unused item:

1.) To request a return of one or more items in an order, contact us via email at info@nolaboards.com or come into our retail location to request a refund. Please present your receipt. 

Also, please note the following: We must have the product returned to us within 30 business days of receipt of the goods.

If we made an error on an order:

We will correct any error made by us without expense to you.

Please call us within five business days of receipt of the goods to report any mistake or damaged goods. We will not accept any claims for damaged or missing merchandise after five business days of receipt of the goods. Please note that opening the box and checking the order is your responsibility within the above mentioned time frame.

We do not accept returns on any defective items after 60 days of the date of purchase. Please ensure your product is in working order prior to that time frame.

We take no responsibility regarding the use or misuse of any of the products we sell or manufacture.
