NOLA Boards is a homegrown New Orleans based culinary brand of kitchen, dining room, and home bar products. Starting out with producing handmade wooden cutting boards affectionately known by customers as "functional art," NOLA Boards has now grown to produce butcher block countertops and custom furniture.
Founded in 2014 by local New Orleanian, Mandy Simpson, NOLA Boards was launched into the spotlight in 2015 when celebrity chef Rachel Ray chose the Marigny Triangle cheese board as her number one gift for the holidays.
Many local and regional artisans from glass blowers to spoon makers and metal artists are also highlighted in their flagship store on the bustling Magazine Street.
Mandy, a native of New Orleans and owner of NOLA BOARDS designs and names each cutting board. Inspired by the staples of the southern food she was raised with and the landmarks she has been surrounded by, the boards have been given names like ROUX, TRINITY, and MARIGNY TRIANGLE.
